Raphael Textura 292 Acrylic Brush, Flat, 100, Natural
$ 6.98
What a fantastic discovery! I love this brush. I already ordered another. But please note:I paint non-representational abstracts using heavy body acrylics. I can’t imagine that this would be good for watercolor, and probably not oils, and I don’t think it would be good for realism.The bristles are very short and very stiff — wonderful for what I do. The brush allows me to do things I couldn’t do before.The handle is 5-1/2 inches long from the bottom of the ferrule. The synthetic bristles are 1-3/8 inches. I bought the size 50 — 2″ wide.I also picked up a 2″ Princeton Redline recently. I love it, too, but it’s a BIG dude. The red handle of the Redline is about 10″ long and the bristles are 1-7/8″ long. It’s a super brush but I like the way the Raphael Textura fits in my hand.
