Its absolutely a staple in the miniatures hobby and if you need this product I also highly recommend a product known as Milliput. They work well when mixed together although I cannot say its safe to do so, from ignorance. Milliput is much better for gap filling, but Greenstuff is much more useful for things that might be touched or brushed up against, as it is more flexible, Milliput tends to crack or flake off. Sculpting with Greenstuff is a challenge, but it is one of the ways traditional artists work within the tiny scale of miniatures and works well for that purpose, as well as a combination with other substances.
