I was fascinated.I make pallet like paintings from foam boards and cutting them the same length, and cutting nicks like real pallet boards have has been a messy, messy challenge. And I hate it when the tiny particles of Styrofoam fly away into the environment. That cannot be good for plants or animals. Plus, sometimes where I cut the foam into boards, you can see the round pebble texture of the foam, which is a giveaway that they aren’t wood boards at all.This makes cutting foam boards easy. It’ll also make cutting “knot holes” and nicks in the boards easy too.I was a bit scared of a “hot” knife, but working it was quite easy, even one-handed as I held my iPad to video with the other hand. I think, with practice, I’ll be able to cut completely straight or cut any shapes I want. I’m pleased with this.If you cut styrofoam, for any reason, consider one of these to help keep styrofoam particles from flying into the environment. I’m always concerned hungry animals won’t know what it use, and they’ll try to eat it.
