With their powerful engines, the RS models are the dynamic spearhead in the Audi model range. Presented by AUDI AG subsidiary quattro GmbH, the high-performance vehicles are consistently sporty in character and are equipped with quattro permanent all-wheel drive as standard.
The performance flagship of the A4 range, the Audi RS 4 Avant was launched in 2000 and was available in Avant form only. This model was the first generation Audi RS 4 (B5) which replaced the legendary Audi RS 2 Avant. It sprints from 0 to 62mph in just 4.9 seconds and features a 2.7-litre bi-turbo V6 engine that delivers 380 PS and is put down onto the road using a torsen-based quattro system for all-weather handling and performance.
